Berkeley Building Co. was established in 2008 by Joe Atalla with the vision of building exceptional homes throughout the Treasure Valley. With a focus on providing a high-level customer experience, Berkeley has built an outstanding team and is dedicated in their commitment to build beautiful homes that their clients will enjoy and make memories in for years to come.
With that said, we are proud to announce that Summit Homes, a subsidiary of Clayton Properties Group, a Berkshire Hathaway company, has acquired Berkeley Building Co. as an investment in what they have worked so hard to build over the last 13 years. Summit Homes, a company that shares like-minded goals and values, will be a great support as Berkeley Building Co. continues to build quality homes and communities, while giving back in a large way through their work fundraising and supporting children’s medical health charities, building the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Dream Home and supporting other community organizations. The Berkeley Building Co. name, leadership, team and everything they stand for will continue.
