We do that through the support of children's health care and research at both a national & local level. This is our passion. THIS IS OUR 'WHY'.
National Level
Through our yearly St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Dream Home Campaigns, we've been able to raise millions of dollars to fund the research and treatment of the rarest forms of pediatric cancers.

At a local level, we're heavily involved at the St. Luke's Children's hospital. The founder of our company, Joe Atalla, serves on the advisory board in support of their fundraiser efforts. As the donor for the new Pediatric Cardiology Clinic, we are honored to support the 1 in 100 children, throughout the Treasure Valley, who suffer from a congenital heart defect. The clinic is changing the way our children receive medical care especially for those who need the most complex levels of treatment.

Make-A-Wish Grantor
We, at Berkeley Building Co., couldn't have been more excited when contacted by Make-A-Wish to see if we would be interested in building a Playhouse for one of their Wish Kids who suffers from Cardiomyopathy. Without thought, we accepted the challenge and got to meet up with Jacob, a vivacious 6 year old who had a very definite idea what he was looking for. His wish list: A Phones & Ferb playhouse with an HVAC System, refrigerator, microwave, TV, DVD player, popcorn maker, an area for crafts, a place to sleep with his friends and siblings...and last but not least...a slide out the side. Our heads were spinning and we went to work with the help of our awesome team of generous subcontractors and suppliers. The result was a very happy 6 year old boy and this playhouse any kid would be excited to call their own.
St. Luke's Children's Play House Auction
It was so much fun to design, build, and auction off both of these luxury playhouses in 2011 & 2012. 100% of the ticket sells were donated to St. Luke's Children's Hospital.
